Erin "Erie" Young is an interdisciplinary artist based in Salem, MA. She received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2005 where she was a two-time recipient of the Fuji Photo/Film Scholarship for Photographic Excellence, as well as a Kodak Educational Grant recipient.  Drawing from a diverse background in painting and drawing, narrative film, photography, concept art and creative writing, her work is a constantly evolving process, producing blended pieces that do not easily fit into a singular traditional art-making discipline. Prior to a solo career, she worked for a wide array of commercial art/design studios, including Miramax Films, MTV Games/Harmonix Music System and Design Continuum.
